What’s one thing on your desk (or in your bag) that tells us about you?
One glance at my desk and you’ll quickly learn three things about me: I’m a proud family man, a lifelong golfer (but not very good), and an Iowa Hawkeyes fan. Among the photos of my wife and kids, a few golf mementos and two Herky the Hawk models. Together, they’re a daily reminder of the things that keep me grounded, motivated, and smiling through the workday

What’s something you’re great at that has nothing to do with work?
Outside of work, I’m usually on the move—chasing kids from one activity to the next, cheering from the sidelines, or trying to remember which field I’m supposed to be at. I also enjoy firing up the grill, where I’ve perfected the art of not burning dinner (most nights). I won’t claim to be great at any of it, I genuinely enjoy spending time with my family, staying involved in the community, and finding moments to laugh and connect with others along the way.

What makes you proud to come to work here every day?
The Credit union slogan is "People helping People" and we truly do help people every single day! Whether it's opening a new account, helping with a vehicle loan or just working with a member to help better their financial situation, we truly do what we can to help people to the best of our ability!

I have a picture of my daughter on my desk, showing the love I have for my family.

What’s something you’re great at that has nothing to do with work?
I am great at scrapbooking! It’s my favorite hobby and how I like to spend my free time.

I don’t karaoke, sorry.

My pink and lime green YETI. I love my coffee in the morning and water throughout the day, and of course any YETI they make!

What’s something you’re great at that has nothing to do with work?
I love playing card games, especially “Hand, Knee, and Foot”. Every weekend there is a healthy competitive game of cards going on at the lake.

Karaoke country in the car, by myself is my go to.

What makes you proud to come to work here every day?
I’m proud to be a part of the Leading Edge Credit Union because everyone here cares about every member. Giving back to the community is always on our minds, co-workers are pretty great too!

On my desk I have crocheted minis of my cats sitting in a crocheted box because I am a cat lady at heart and in real life.

I love to cook and bake. I was also trained as an electrician while I was in the Army, I am very handy at DIY projects around the house.
