Membership at LECU starts with a $5 deposit to a share account. As a member, you are entitled to all the benefits and resources we have to offer. We are a not-for-profit financial cooperative, which means we don’t answer to stockholders, we answer to our members. Your membership gives you a voice in electing our board of directors, which makes decisions with your interests in mind. This structure also lets us return earnings to our members in the form of better rates and reduced fees.

**A Primary Savings Account with a $5 minimum balance is required to establish and maintain membership.
